Another great collector
In my region lives another
Dicxo Hood Tach collector. He restored many of his Hood Tachs to
NOS conditions and is very proud of them.
Thanks Oliver, to share your great collection with us! |

Dixco HTx - New Content on Downloads
We aquired the Dixco Brochure from 1974 and scanned the important site
with the Dixco Hood Tach.
As you can see, the knob to set the red set pointer is still the same as
from 1970 up to 1974.
In 1975 Dixco changed the design from the knob with inner
grooves. |

HURST - 1970 Jeepster Commando
In 1970 and
1971, HURST produced a special version with an integrated DIXCO HT/x
Hood Tachometer.
The price was about $5000 and only 500 Jeeps where build.
300 units were delivered with the Automatic Transmission
200 units were delivered with the Manual Gearbox |

Comprehensiv website for all
aspects of DIXCO Hood Tachometer
Since many years, I’m a big
collector from DIXCO’s Hood Tachometers. Initially I was looking /
searching for a Hood
Tachometer for my AAR Cuda. But during my research on internet and eBay, I found
a lot of other brands from DIXCO, such for Ford, Yenko …
I always bought other ones, and my collection became bigger and bigger.

A remarkable collection has
been created over the years!
I had also imposed on
myself to buy only NOS Hood Tachometers and no used ones, if possible,
of course always with the original box,
but this was on very rare occasions and a large amount of luck.
This website is very comprehensive and illuminates all models and all
the details. Enjoy ... |

"Big Daddy" Don Garlits
- DIXCO 999 Tachometer
I added in the
section
Special Hood Tach
the legendary DIXO 999 from Don Garlits.
This is not a Hood Tachometer, but a wonderful example about great things
produced from DIXCO.
See great pictures and Don Garlits story... |
